The Greenhouse at Peter Wentz Farmstead | 1 pm

The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy will once again be honoring Martin Luther King Jr. by offering volunteer service opportunities on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Conservancy will host two different volunteer opportunities; a morning and an afternoon opportunity. Our morning volunteer opportunity will be held at the Conservancy, 1 W. Skippack Pike, Schwenksville, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. During our morning service opportunity, volunteers will assist our Environmental Education Department by helping prepare crafts that are used to teach young learners about our local environment. Volunteers will also help our Outreach Department prepare goodie bags for an upcoming outdoor recreation event! Our afternoon service opportunity will be held at the greenhouse located at the Peter Wentz Farmstead, 2030 Shearer Rd., Worcester, from 1:00PM – 3:00PM. During our afternoon volunteer service, volunteers will assist our Conservation Department with sanitizing our plant propagation pots and trays. Volunteers will also help by organizing, cleaning, and creating plant tags to prepare for our upcoming conservation projects.
