Rain Gardens: An environmentally-friendly approach to storm water management

On Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 6:30 PM, the Lower Providence Community Library will host a program on Rain Gardens: An environmentally-friendly approach to storm water management, presented by Master Gardener, Karrie Hontz.

 Do you have areas in your yard that get flooded during heavy rains, and then the water sits for days after the storm?   Come learn about the latest trend in home gardening; Rain Gardens.  You will learn new gardening techniques to help you soak up much of that excess run-off and discover how your property can look beautiful as well.

Karrie Hontz is a Master Gardener from the Penn State Cooperative Extension of Montgomery County.   She has been a Master Gardener for more than 17 years and lectures throughout the county on various horticultural topics.

This program is free and open to the public. Registration requested.
