Sentimental Journey: Songs from the World War II Era

The Lower Providence Community Library will host international jazz singer Maggie Worsdale, as she takes us back to the songs that became hits during the World War II era.
Worsdale will bring to life the songs that became hits during the World War II era. I’ll be Seeing You, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Taking a Chance on Love, You’ll Never Know are just a few of the songs presented in this 1 hour program. Many of the tunes Maggie sings have terrific “stories behind the song” and she shares the stories along with the songs.
Maggie Worsdale has released 4 studio albums and has guest appeared on 3. She is the lead singer for the jazz revue band SWEET WHISKEY.
