Partner with Ursinus: Help Launch the APEX Program (Applied. Professional. Experiential.)- Registration is now open

We are excited to invite you to participate in a unique and impactful opportunity to support the next generation of professionals through Ursinus College’s APEX Program (Applied. Professional. Experiential.) as part of our upcoming Experiential Learning Week in January 2026.

This initiative connects Ursinus students with real-world work environments where they can explore potential career paths, develop professional skills, learn by observing, and understand how your environment operates. We are seeking enthusiastic partners to host first-year students onsite for a two-day shadowing experience on January 21st and 22nd. This is not an internship.

As a host, you will:

Welcome a group of Ursinus College first-year students to your workplace
Offer them an immersive experience across two days
Help them understand your organization’s mission, culture, and career opportunities
Provide an informational interview with you or a member of your team
Engage them in shadowing and/or planned activities (networking, meetings, hands-on experiences, or presentations)
Your involvement will not only inspire and help shape first-year students’ experience but also strengthen your company’s commitment to community engagement and workforce development. Ursinus will provide transportation and prepare students in advance, so they arrive informed and ready to engage.

Program Dates: January 21st and January 22nd

Time Commitment: 4 hours onsite per day
