Julia’s Joy Voice Idol Pop Song Competition 2026
Pillars of Light and Love is hosting our 8th Julia’s Joy Voice Competition as part of our youth empowerment programs created in memory of Julia Morath. Contestants from ages 11-18 auditioned to compete in our Julia’s Joy Voice Idol Competition, and since November are completing free vocal and performance coaching! On February 1st there will be 15 contestants competing and the TOP FIVE in each age group will be judged and announced. The top five in the 11-14 and 15-18 year old groups will compete on February 22nd to win a $500 Grand Prize. Our competition will held once again on the beautiful Verge Church stage in Trappe.
The Julia’s Joy program was created in 2017 in memory of 14 year-old Julia Morath. The Julia’s Joy Youth Empowerment Program called “Empowering U” is currently in production with plans to bring it to schools everywhere. The program, comprised of 25 weeks of lesson plans, teach children in grades K-12 about stress and life management, healthy coping and relationships skills, anti-bullying, resilience and confidence building!
Tickets are $22.50 for adults and $8.00 for youth under 18.
