MCT presents NOISES OFF
Methacton Community Theater (MCT) presents NOISES OFF on May 2, 3, 9 & 10 @ 7:30 pm and May 4 &11 @ 2:00 pm at Shannondell Performing Arts Theater, 10000 Shannondell Blvd, Audubon, PA 19403. Ticket price $24 general admission, $20 senior (62+) and youth (18 and under). Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.ticketleap.events/events/methactoncommunitytheater or at the door prior to each performance. Suitable for ages 14 and over. All parking for patrons is at the Giant Supermarket Shopping Lot. A free shuttle will transport you to the Performing Arts Theater. The shuttle starts 1 hour before curtain. Noises Off is a play-within-a-play that captures a touring theatre troupe’s production of Nothing On in three stages: dress rehearsal, the opening performance, and a performance towards the end of a debilitating run. The audience sees a window into the inner workings of theatre behind the scenes, progressing from flubbed lines and missed cues in the dress rehearsal to mounting friction between cast members in the final performance. Brimming with slapstick comedy, Noises Off is a delightful backstage farce, complete with slamming doors, falling trousers, and — of course — flying sardines!
