Osterhase Day
April 19 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Easter bunny will be visiting Historic Trappe from 10 to 11 am on April 19! Bring your kids and learn how Pennsylvania German immigrants introduced popular Easter traditions to colonial America, including the Easter bunny (known as the “Osterhase” or Easter hare in German) and decorated Easter eggs. At 11 am, there will be a special reading of the famous children’s book The Egg Tree by Katherine Milhous. Craft stations will also be set up with kids’ activities including paper cutting and toddler-friendly scratch art eggs.
